Paolo Agnelli, National President of Confimi, to Conte: “priority to the tax wedge and the energy taxes cut”.
Confimi took part in the meeting of the General States, thanks to which the Government was able to touch the needs of the productive world by confronting the different realities. Confimi is available to support him in the measures that will follow.
The well-structured plan presented by the Conte Government gives hope. But it is necessary to follow concrete actions for the three years. Among the priorities is the need to return Italian companies to compete in international markets. As far as the manufacturing sector is concerned, action should be taken to the tax wedge and the energy taxes cut.
The Italian recovery plan cannot be separated from Europe. Lately a lot has been talked about automotive, but we don’t talk about the small and medium–sized companies that make up the sector. They work steel and aluminium for the components and are forced to fight for the purchase of the raw material with giants that export the two metals at dumping. Therefore, one should work to protect the market by strengthening duties.
Carlo Pellicola, President of Confimi Impresa Meccanica Puglia and Management Director of Molitecnica Sud and Gruppo Pellicola, shares and reiterates what Paolo Agnelli said to Conte:
“I fully agree with what President Paolo Agnelli said. I hope for a real economic recovery, for Italy and for my Puglia. I hope that with the facilities and measures provided by the Region of Puglia, such as the 110% bonus, there is a good chance to revive businesses”.
