Apulia meet Chile in Bari at the chamber of commerce for an event organised by Confimi Industry.
During the event Carlo Pellicola, the management director of Molitecnica Sud and the Vicepresident of Confimi Industry Bari BAT Foggia, had the opportunity to introduce the company to the Ambassador of the Chilean Republic and to the Commercial Representative of ProChile Italy.
Chile is the nation with the highest PIL of south America. It is a technologically developed country. So it offers a lot of opportunity to people that invest in Chile.
The international predictions show that the economy of Latin America is growing and Chile is the industrial platform.
The commercial exchange between Italy and Chile in 2018 was about 1.8 million of euros. Furthermore, the exports have registered a growth of 6,8%.
Sergio Ventricelli, President of Confimi Industry Apulia: “The South America is a wonderful place, because it is full of resources. There are also a lot of italian community. We could and we should do more with Chile”.
Alberto Gorgone, Commercial Representative of ProChile Italy: “Chile has a symmetry of production and companies structure. For most, there are small and medium companies in Chile. There is an opposite season, that allow us to have products that are not produced in Italy in a certain period”.
Sergio Romero Pizarro, Ambassador of the Chilean Republic in Italy: “This is the first contact with Apulia, but I wish that could be the beginning of a long relationship and collaboration between the two countries. The interests is to promote the commercial and the touristic aspects of both. We want to encourage the companies that produce olive oil and wine to go to Chile for an exchange”.
